Context
This project was first inspired by the 4 Life Project, which is KMUTT's learning system called "Micro-Credential." The Micro-Credential is the competency-based learning system providing a specific educational focus on a personnel's competence based on their work experience and everyday life. This learning system allows us to understand each personnel's needs and necessary development. It makes a collaboration needs between a personnel and a organization for mutual growth. For the reasons, I designed a platform for creating an engaging way to customize a personalized curriculum package to match and fulfill a new competency that the company needs. This led to my thesis, ' 'Training Program Management in the Work Industry.'

A curriculum for bachelor's and master's degree programs offered by most universities will not be able to meet the needs of workers, as they have limited time and don't need to attend and complete the whole course

Most organizations now, promote employees to upskill their competency that matches with the organization, so a good collaboration needs a space for communication to get a mutual understanding of employees' development course in line with personnel and company needs

Understand User

To gain access to the users in this project, it is necessary to receive information from people from both the company’s HR and employees. Conducted a survey and interviewed over 20+ people, including doing desk research, found that each personnels had their own goals and pains. Type of people were classified, detail is according to the following image.


Statement
'To design an application that simplifies managing people by matching talent and attitude and maximizing people's ability in the career field. People from various working experience backgrounds and departments can learn and work harmoniously together. The design will promote a sense of belonging and pride by providing opportunities to archive and review within the work community.
Design Solution Summary
Creating a central system to define training courses that meet a personnel’s needs benefits employees. It is a tool to upgrade their abilities to promote the progress in their work. At the same time, the organization will have employees with unique skills for supporting specific project works. It is to put the right man on the right job and to give employees opportunities to work in areas of their interests. In this regard, we will let the training institutions or the Micro-Credential plug into the central system to create training courses to establish new competencies and a new working environment for each organization, which further understand and pay more attention to their employees.

We offer a solution to the users according to their pains and needs. The table shows the possible ideation for each user type.

Interface Design

on the screen, it makes the app look official and reliable. Using only three primary colors make the application look clean. The information displayed on the screen is visible and reduces the complexity of the elements on the net. However, the three colors have different usage contexts. Blue is used to interact with buttons that take us from one page to another, light blue is resistant to the selection, and gray represents a space to fill in the information.
